The Strathclyde Suite is a 48-bed, two-ward unit which provides long-term/palliative care for the elderly.

The NHS Lanarkshire managed facility has two wards containing 24 single NHS rooms.
While the wards are located within Park Springs Care Centre, they are managed and staffed by NHS Lanarkshire.
The 24 beds in each ward are arranged in single rooms, most of which have ensuite and/or washing facilities. Accordingly, the wards are able to accommodate male and female patients.
Large and bright dayrooms are a feature of both wards and facilitate social interactions between patients and staff. An external but secluded decked area is also available for patient use.
The majority of patients will have been referred from Wishaw General Hospital following medical assessment which has confirmed that their on-going care needs can best be met from continuing NHS inpatient care. Some patients may be accommodated pending the outcome of further medical interventions and may, thereafter, be able to go home or be placed within a nursing or residential care facility.
Normal visiting times are from 2.00pm – 8.00pm, 7 days a week but arrangements outwith these can easily be accommodated by speaking to staff.
