Clydesdale Community Food Market
The Clydesdale Community Food Market is run in partnership with Healthy Valleys, Healthy Valleys are always looking to recruit more volunteers NHS Lanarkshire and South Lanarkshire Council to increase the availability of good quality and affordable fresh fruit and vegetables to rural communitites.
The initiative promotes the health benefits of eating fresh seasonal produce and makes it available to people who may otherwise struggle to access it.
The food markets which are run by local volunteers take place at the following venues:
- Robert Ferguson Target Centre, Kirkmuirhill - Thursday from 10am to 1pm
- Rigside Community Hall - Thursdays 10am to 1pm
